Dental coverage is provided to permanent employees and their eligible dependents who are enrolled in any of the County's medical plans (Kern Legacy Share Select, Kern Legacy Network Plus, Kern Legacy Max Choice, Kern Legacy Classic Choice, or Kaiser Permanente).
Plan Options
Liberty Independence PPO Dental
A ‘Preferred Provider’ (PPO) plan that pays 90% of the costs (after deductibles) for dental work done by in-network dentists and 70% of Usual & Customary cost for dental work done by out-of-network dentists.
Liberty Cobalt Plus DHMO Dental
An HMO-type plan under which the employee selects services from a contracted dentist. The plan has no deductible and no annual dollar amount maximum. For additional information, please review the Benefit Schedule.
